Nordic XR Startups is proud to present their newest batch of portfolio companies.
Since 2017, Nordic XR Startups has searched far and wide for the most promising Northern European startups in VR, AR and MR. This year, four new companies were added to our portfolio. The teams come from a varied range of industries, all firsts of their kind for the NXS portfolio. Most happen to be from Finland, but one company has their roots in Norway, Portugal and the UK, also all firsts for NXS.
– Sense of Space / Finland
Volumetric video content creation tool for AR and VR.
– KIT-AR / Norway/Portugal/UK
Advanced AR/MR System for industrial smart manufacturing.
– Anarky Labs / Finland
Mixed Reality software “HorusAR“, for raising situational awareness for professional drone pilots.
– Peili Vision / Finland
VR platform used in neurological rehabilitation.Looking forward to working with the teams throughout 2020, accelerating their growth and helping them seek out new opportunities. Welcome!
Of course, the program is looking quite a bit different than it was at the start of the year. For example, the culmination of the NXS acceleration period, Slush, has been cancelled due to the COVID-19 situation. Alternate ways to network and reach out will be actualized, and remote workshops will be held. After all, virtuality is the way of the future!
While we have finished our batch for this year, please don’t hesitate to contact us if you want to pitch your idea, present your XR product or ask for funding for your company. We’re always happy to talk to promising people about great ideas in XR. You can contact us via info@nordicxrstartups.wpcomstaging.com.
