Nordic XR Startups has made their third investment of 2019. Applications are still open on an ongoing basis, as the biggest startup event of the year, Slush, draws nearer.
Following Grib from Finland and MeetinVR from Denmark earlier this year, Nordic XR Startups has formed ties with their first Icelandic company, Flow.
Flow provides immediate access to meditation’s proven benefits. Their Flow mobile app allows for measuring progress in relation to practice, with tracking variables, to encourage engagement. FlowVR is the key to their progressive platform, helping people better manage stress and accelerate personal development via highly effective guided meditation in Virtual Reality. The CEO of Flow, Tristan Elizabeth Gribbin, is enthusiastic: “The Flow team is super excited to be joining the expanding Nordic XR Startups community. It’s an honor to be plugged into the dynamic ecosystem at NXS, and we are sure to gain tremendously from the collaborations to come. This is where we can shine with FlowVR as a leading meditation app not only in virtual reality, but also with our mobile app and corporate programs. We are making fantastic waves in Iceland with our Flow Meditation for modern life platform so it’s a natural step to move over to the Nordics next and enter the B2B and B2C markets there!”
